Since March 15 we have been quarantined at home. It has been a time of meditating on the word of God, reflection, and spiritual insights. Like 911, this pandemic will change America forever.
Since the pandemic, we have been advised to wear masks, gloves, wash our hands more than we ever have, and drink tea like an Englishman, and we will follow those precautions. However, more than anything we will stay on our knees in prayer to God. We will continue to build our faith in the word of God and focus on our faith and not fear.
The novel coronavirus or COVID-19 has unleashed itself on the earth. It has brought fear, death and absolute panic! There are many theories out there about where this virus came from, and the motive behind this pandemic. Some say it is about population control, and another theory says it's about the greed of the elite and pharmaceutical companies. Either way, our hope is in Jesus! Our strength and health is in Jesus! Our trust is in the power of Jesus!
In closing, let me leave this scripture with you. It is a scripture that I have reading each morning and sometimes at night before going to bed.
Psalm 121:1-8
"I will lift up my eyes to the hills from where comes my help.
My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved: He that keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your Keeper: the Lord is your shade upon your right hand.
The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve you from all evil: He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time froth, and even for evermore."
Maranatha will continue to pray against this virus, and build our faith in God, because we believe that our faith will drive away all fear.
